How to Wonder & Bloom
Practice identifying shapes and their names by matching them on your Bloom Board. Place your board on a flat (and plain) surface. Simply place the correct shape into its corresponding slot.
While interacting with this board, say the name of the shape, count its sides and place it into the correct place cutout. Manipulate the shape by turning it if it does not fit the first time you try.
OTHER IDEAS:
* Use the shape cutouts and place them on a blank piece of paper. Now take a pencil (or your choice of writing tool) and trace around each shape. See if you can copy the name of the shape onto your traced shape.
*Use your shape board and place it on a piece of paper using it as a stencil and tracing each shape.
*You can also use this puzzle as a race. Time yourself and see how fast you can match the shapes.
*Place your shapes around you with your Bloom Board in front of you. Close your eyes (or blindfold yourself) and see if you can match the shapes without looking – carefully feeling the shapes and the board to find the perfect match.
