One-to-one correspondence is a maths skill that matches objects to numbers. It assists children in developing a strong sense of numbers and is the foundation for counting, addition, subtraction, and other Mathematical operations.
By learning this skill, children are able to make connections between numbers and their value.
It’s time to make learning more FUN, it’s time to count raindrops!
Place your Bloom Board in front of you and lay your clouds out around your board. Place your pom poms in a bowl.
Choose your first cloud and place it in the cutout slot. Start by counting out loud until you get to that number.
Now place the corresponding pompoms for that number into the spaces provided on your Bloom Board. Count backwards as you take your pom-poms out, one-by-one.
Turn your Bloom Board over to remove the number cloud.
Choose a new number cloud and repeat the process.
